Vanessa Buck- she/her
Vanessa is a Native American costume technician and designer. She has loved clothing and historic garments since she was young. As a child she would watch historic dramas on VHS and would pause the tape to draw the clothing she saw on screen. She graduated from Utah State University with a BFA in Theatre Design and Technology with a Costume emphasis in the autumn of 2018, and is currently a first year theatre graduate student at Penn State University, emphasizing in costume construction. In the past, Vanessa has worked at Ghost Ride (a haunted house prop shop), the Utah Shakespeare Festival, the alteration department at Nordstrom, Tuacahn Amphitheatre, and Period Corsets. She has a deep passion for Halloween and being creative. In her spare time she loves to dress up, make costumes or crafts for herself and spend time with her family and friends. She is excited to continue her costuming career and passion.
